What to Expect
Please arrive 15 minutes before your first appointment with me so you have time to fill out an informational packet and consent forms. We will go over any issues and/or concerns you have with your skin and discuss the treatment to be performed on that day. If you are having a wax I may ask you to change depending on the area being waxed so please be prepared. If you are having a facial service, I will ask you to change into a gown and remove any jewelry you may be wearing so I don’t recommend bringing anything of great import or value as I am not liable for any lost or misplaced items! I can control the temperature of the room and table, the position of the table and the amount of light in the room so it is completely customizable for your preference! Once you are changed and tucked in all you need to do is relax…and let me take care of the rest!
Communication is key to any relationship…including ours. Please be truthful in disclosing any medications, topical gels or creams or other treatments you may have had prior to our service. I will NOT perform certain services on broken, irritated or burned skin, skin with active cold soars, recent trauma or brusing and anyone using Accutanne withing the last year. Those who us Retin A, Retinol (Altinac, Atralin, Avita, Refissa, Renova, Tretinoin Emollient Topical, Tretin-X) or topical meds (Tazorac, Epiduo, MetroGel etc.) MUST DISCONTINUE USE AT LEAST 3 DAYS (preferably a week) PRIOR TO OUR SERVICE. I will ALWAYS act in the interest of the health and integrity of your skin and I ask that you do the same!
Educating my clients about their skin is one of my priorities! There are several frequently asked questions that I have addressed under the FAQ tab located at the top right hand side of my webpage. If you have additional questions or curiosities about skin, skin care, facials, waxing, makeup or myths about any of these topics please email me so I can best answer your questions!!
